Our story
Job2Build was founded after one too many stories of homeowners being let down by unverified tradespeople found through informal channels — and of skilled tradespeople struggling to reach new customers in their area.
The UK trades market is enormous. Billions of pounds of work is carried out every year on homes, renovations, and construction projects. Yet the process of finding someone trustworthy has barely changed: word of mouth, leaflets through the door, or generic directories where anyone can list themselves regardless of qualifications.
We wanted to do something better. Job2Build is built on the belief that trust has to be earned — and that both customers and tradespeople deserve a platform that puts honesty and transparency first.

Jobs receive a maximum of 4 quotes. That means tradespeople are competing seriously for your work — not firing off hundreds of templated responses.
Reviews you can trust
We only allow reviews from customers who actually booked through Job2Build. No anonymous ratings, no industry plant reviews.
